Trigonelline is a new NAD+ precursor that supports muscle function and aging

A 2024 study published in Nature Metabolism, conducted by researchers from EPFL in collaboration with the Nestlé Institute of Health Sciences identifies Trigonelline as a novel precursor to NAD+, a critical molecule for cellular energy production.

NMN and NR are established NAD+ precursors that boost intracellular NAD+ levels through the salvage pathway (Schultz & Sinclair, 2016).

Trigonelline is a relatively newer NAD+ precursor that has been shown to increase NAD+ directly in muscle tissue and potentially in the brain without heavy reliance on the same salvage pathway intermediates (Luo et al., 2023).

Full disclosure, Mortalis Labs is a vendor. However we are not the only vendor for Trigonelline, and we recommend doing your research to select the vendor that suits you best, and evaluate for yourself and with a healthcare professional if NAD+ precursors are right for you.
